The photovoltaic power plant near Aghione, Corsica, boasts a total capacity of 11,999.1 kWp and consists of 45,540 Talesun PV modules. These modules are paired with 198 decentralized KACO inverters, ensuring reliable energy conversion. The plant's energy is fed into the grid via five transformer stations, each with a capacity of 2,000 kVA, and a main delivery station. The solar panels are strategically installed with a 25° tilt and oriented directly south (0°S) to maximize solar efficiency and energy generation throughout the year, optimizing performance for Corsica's sunny climate.
The Aghione Solar Power Plant in Corsica, with a capacity of 11,99 MWp, generates enough clean energy to power approximately 5,000 households annually, reducing CO2 emissions by around 8,000 tons annually, and contributing significantly to local sustainability efforts.
