Viridi obtains authorization for the 214 MW La Campiña photovoltaic plant in Toledo
The renewable energy company Viridi has obtained the authorization to build the photovoltaic solar plant La Campiña, to be located between the city of Toledo and the municipality of Argés, which will have a capacity of 214.08 megawatts (MW).
The future plant will generate renewable energy to supply more than 120,000 housholds and will save more than 123 million tons of CO2 emissions. The planned installation will use 396,478 bifacial solar modules, in addition to incorporating 669 inverters and 45 transformer stations.
